Brewers Win The World Series!

Brewers Win The World Series!

Ok… let me just say… if this is the headline in the Milwaukee papers this October no small amount of credit will go to their terrific time spent in Arizona for Spring Training.   Everyone knows that the key to a successful season is great preparation during spring training, and how can you have great preparation if your trash cans are full and your toilets are dirty?

The Brewers are certainly not the only team with rookies and former world series winners.  They are not the only team with someone who hit 50 home runs last year, but one thing I am pretty certain of is that the Brewers are the only team that has someone with a Masters in Theology on their clubhouse cleaning crew!

When I am mopping the floors I don’t have an overwhelming feeling that I am doing some great work for the Kingdom, but maybe I am doing some good work for the Brewers.  I am hoping for a great season this year.  If they win the world series the half eaten apple and the dirty pair of socks I have been saving from the trash might be worth something (remember Louis Gonzales’ chewed piece of gum on e-bay for over $10,000).  If anyone wants me to grab something from the trash for you to hang on to just let me know… there is plenty to go around!

You’re funny Sean. Let’s hope you’re right. Maybe you should try to get the dirty socks signed!

    I’ll take a syringe.

I’ll have to tell Adam about this. He’s a big Brewers guys since he’s from Wisconsin. In fact, put him down for a syringe too. 🙂

    No thanks!

This is actually freakin’ me out conceptually: I’m going to take a few deep breathes and move on…ahhhh, better.

Oh, Sean, if they only knew… do you think the Lord is on their side since a guy with a Masters in Theology is helping out?!
